A message of gratitude...

Hello my friends!

This is a thank you email—as many of you saw, I recently collaborated with The Marine Mammal Center to create three new otter themed comics for their sea otter themed month of September. I’m so grateful to everyone who engaged with these comics or bought a print. Thanks to you, we raised $10,000 for them!

Your support is hugely impactful for this threatened species since the Center is one of just a few organizations permitted to rehabilitate southern sea otters. Earlier this year their experts helped heal a sea otter, later named Mooring, found entangled in ocean trash. The critical work that saved Mooring was made possible by caring people like you. Dive into Mooring’s story to learn more about her treatment, see her release back to the ocean, and what the Center’s experts learned from monitoring her in the wild.
