Hello! A little update/what I'm working on...

Hi everyone! It’s been a while!

First, a life update. I am now the owner of not one, but TWO cats. Just as I was looking to adopt a dog, the cat distribution system kicked into full gear and a friend of mine found an abandoned kitten. And so now I have a kitten. 

Her name is Olive and after hiding under my guest bed for a solid three months, she is now social and happy and in general is menace (in the best way). 

So what am I working on while I’ve been away from “Sarah’s Scribbles”? Well, a lot! The last year I’ve been plugging away at a collection of short horror stories. The collection will feature 10 stories, and I have final sketches for 8 of them so far. I also have a final title: the collection will officially be called “Hello, My Wolf”.

In May, I’m starting a book collaboration with the one and only Joshua Barkman of False Knees. We are expanding the characters of Dragon and Crow, which you may recall from the comic below. We’ve built an entire fairy tale world and are so excited to bring the story to life and share it with all of you. I couldn’t think of a more talented artist to work with.

There’s a lot in the pipeline! I definitely miss “Sarah’s Scribbles” but I’m very excited for you all to see the new work.
